About BuskFest

BuskFest is an international busking festival which takes place in Banbridge, County Down, Northern Ireland. The event comprises a daytime busking competition followed by an outdoor evening concert. This flagship event is now entering its 7th year and attracts 6000+ people to Banbridge town centre.

Busking Competition

Every year the streets of Banbridge town centre are full to capacity with hundreds of musicians, singers, bands, solo artists and street performers from across the globe entertaining large family crowds in the hope of winning a prize from the £3000 cash pot.

Outdoor concert

Make your way to the Solitude Park Ampitheatre for a free outdoor concert which features a fantastic line up of local bands and international performers.

If you have a bit more time to spend in and around the town take a short trip to the F.E. McWilliam Gallery and Studio just 1 mile from the town centre. The newly opened gallery is dedicated to the memory of Banbridge-born sculptor Frederick Edward McWilliam, one of Ireland’s most influential and successful artists. The gallery and studio house a collection of the sculptors work in exhibition space and a sculpture garden as well as hosting touring exhibitions and regular events.
